These terms govern your use of the Net Speed app. By using Net Speed you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Net Speed measures network performance — speed, latency, jitter, coverage and the devices on your local network — to help you troubleshoot. Results depend on your hardware, the servers being tested, radio conditions, other traffic and factors outside our control, and will vary between runs. Treat them as indicative, not authoritative.
The Devices feature scans the local network your device is connected to. You must only use it on networks you own or are authorised to test. Do not use Net Speed to probe, map or interfere with networks without permission. You are responsible for using the app lawfully.
You can use core features without an account. If you create one to sync across devices, keep your sign-in secure and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Net Speed is currently free to use. If paid features are introduced, they will be billed through your Apple ID under Apple's terms, and this page will be updated.
Don't misuse Net Speed. In particular, don't use it unlawfully, don't attempt to access other people's accounts or networks, and don't try to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
The measurements and settings you save remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display that data back to you across your devices so the app can work.
We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of Net Speed, and we may update these terms. We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Net Speed is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision made in reliance on the app's measurements. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You may stop using Net Speed and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
